Jones Engineering awarded the Sir Roland Burke Trophy

Jones Engineering has been awarded the Sir Roland Burke Trophy for 2008, and is in recognition for a sustained contribution in a particular sector of farm machinery.

The Burke Trophy has been awarded annually for the past 26 years, and this year the judges considered Jones Engineering to be a worthy winner.

Established in 1987 they have become renowned for their innovative design and robust engineering, and manufacture a range of agricultural and horticultural machinery from irrigation reels and vegetable harvesting equipment, through to toppers and low loading trailers.

“Customers of Jones Engineering commented on their exemplary service support and continuous development and improvement throughout the range of products” said Matt Home, Honorary Consulting Engineer.

The award will be presented by Lord Salisbury at 3.00 in the Machinery Awards marquee on the 3rd July at the Royal Show.
