Royal Show to remain in Bluetongue Surveillance Zone
Due to the Royal Showground remaining in a bluetongue surveillance zone which is not expected to change before the start of the Show on Thursday 3rd July 2008, only livestock from within the surveillance zone or those animals that are vaccinated and blood tested, in accordance with DEFRA regulations, may attend.
Livestock entries will be far lower than usual, but classes will run to an amended schedule. All other aspects of the show will remain unaffected by this decision.
We appreciate the support of all our exhibitors and visitors.
For further information on movement restrictions, please refer to DEFRA or your local animal health office.
